My favourite pub, I think I’ve eaten here more than any other restaurant since moving to London Having teamed up with Riverford, the Duke is Britain’s only organic pub, offering an exceptional menu that changes due to seasonal availability. Their apple crumble is a real must!
A lovely bakery in Stoke Newington, Luminary is an innovative social enterprise that offers opportunities to empower women. Their aim is “to break the generational cycles of abuse, prostitution, criminal activity and poverty.” Oh and they do THE best brownies!
This one’s been on my list for a while now and I really do keep meaning to go because having eyed up their online menu, the cocktail list here looks mouthwatering. With a focus on seasonal produce and minimal waste, Scout ensures that sustainability remains at the heart of everything it does.
A lovely little farmshop in east London, selling fresh organic produce straight from their farm in Suffolk. Only open during the weekdays, sadly closed at the weekends!
Daylesford began as one of the most sustainable, organic farms in the UK and has now expanded beyond its quiet origins in the Cotswolds to the bustling streets of London. Based in 3 locations across the city, my favourite is Marylebone but these farmshops can also be found in Notting Hill, Pimlico and Brompton Cross.
I recently discovered this cool little cocktail bar when I was invited to Too Good To Go’s 3rd Birthday Party, hosted here. The bar bears a zero waste ethos, with sustainability the focus throughout – they won’t even use limes because of their carbon footprint!
